I am noticing the very small cavity for the internal gears (possibly less oil), Is the maintenance more or the same as similar diffs?

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I think the picture might be decieving. The internal cavity for the gears is about the same size as any other diff. Internal gear size is the same as anything else also.

The adjuster nut making the outside wall of the diff cup look unusually big is probably the reason the inside appears to be small in the picture.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

OK, just thought I'd ask. Nice look and factory looking finish

No, and yes.

This is designed to replace the center diff or spool seen on most 1/8 buggies and truggies, though it can also be used in custom applications that use 1/8 center diff braces- you cant stick it inside the revo tranny if thats what you're asking, not without some major modding (so far as I know).

ah ok thanks cobber, was looking at all the ways this thing fitted to the various cars and i cant imagine this thing sitting inside the revo tranny without some major surgery. however it would be the ultimate if it was smalll enough to do so. for now i will just need to drive with a light finger.
