Now I see why I bought a brand new NEU motor for about $60.00 off... They where getting rid of the older models to sell the newer versions. I had a feeling that's what it was. I really didn't mind. Hey it's still a NEU motor! I can't wait to test it out!!

put some screw to hold the front case...ishhh not a good idea(except for the m4 hole)....i see a lot of motor that the front cap come loose and you know the rest of the storyi prefer the old design of the front bell but for the other mod ...wow bigger bearing,insulation...very good mod

reminds me of my losi xcelorin, 16mm front bearing and m3/m4 screw holes. sounds fantastic, but honestly, it just makes sense to build it solid. the losi has a 16x8x5mm bearing, which is a very common size, replacement is easy.

That explains alot to me as well Just ordered a 1515/1y for the RC8 from Amain.... Was marked down to 159.99 and with my coupon code for $25 I got a brand new Neu 1515/1y motor for less then 150 shipped

I just compared the 2 1521 1y motors I have. The newer model has a much larger front bearing, and has the 3 piece can. It is slightly longer like 1/8" or so. No real weight difference that I can feel.
