Wow, I figured the MMM had 8s in it but 10s is nuts. I can't imagine it lasting too long, but props for trying!

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I dought you could check the TVS even though its a diode which in general is easy to test, finding out which one of the surface mount parts is the might be a little bit hard, besides your still able to run it so leave it alone.

Not sure exactly where it is on a V2 or V3, but it's a fairly large device about the size of one of the FETs. On a V1 (at least on mine) it was located right where the power wires were soldered to the board (underside).

I agree though, that high of a voltage probably blew it very quick. It is designed to supress voltage spikes for a very short duration (such as when braking), but applying a constant voltage likely popped it within a couple of milli-seconds. All this means is that any protection from braking spikes is not there anymore.

Nope, it doesn't have 8S in it... The TVS will fry, and then under heavy braking the rest of the electronics will go....

Well it's not something I wanted to try, it was a mistake on my part by not using my parallel harness and just plugging the lipos in series.

Yup I know and that's why I bought another MMM combo. Once I get it I will probably send in the MMM combo I have now for repairs. In the mean time, the thing is still working.
