um little more... i know the kv rating is high(rc18t 8000kv) and (slash 3300) is larger motor size (length) is more amp draw. so that really doesn't help .... thanks for your time. real experience is what I'm looking for

BLAH :)

Well, if you were hoping for more information, don't start with a "Yes or No" question.

ouch, i understand. would the sidewinder handle a 3300 medusa on 3s without problems there does not seem to be specific info it says 4600 castle motor on 3s would be ok but the Medusa, it is a bigger motor 36-50.

the sidewinder micro says 3s and 8000kv but i have a 4800 kv motor that is longer 20-40. shit these are yes and no questions i don't know how to ask them so info is good on anything

That's much better, actually. The more specific you are with your question, the more specific the answers will be.

So- Yes the Medusa is a bigger motor, but it's also a much slower motor and should draw less current. The SW is rated for ~70A continuously, I don't think you'll ever see that in a Slash, at least not on 3s.

If temps get too high on either you can disable the bec and that should help quite a bit. I would get the 1/10th sidewinder for both vehicles. I'd also run a 28mm medusa in the rc18t. It would make the tiny castle motor look like a stock brushed motor.
