EZrun 80a on ebay or KD EZrun setup. E-maxx - 06.03.2009, 12:32 PM

can someone with either of these setup, please give me your thoughts.

I want to put an ezrun 80a in my sons stock 3905 E-maxx.

what is better the kershaw designs setup
EZRun 80 Amp ESC/ Kershaw Designs Revolver XL Motor

or the ones on ebay
EZRUN 19T 3674SL Motor 2350Kv / 80A ESC / Program Card

The KD ONES don't have a program card, or a pinion
as far as i can tell. they are cheaper tho.

the Kd setup will cost approx $128 shipped.

the ebay setup approx $154 shipped.

How important is the program card? I have several 5mm Pinions
but they are 22t 24t. I dont know if these pinions can be used.

So if i need new pinions and a programing card for the kd setup,
I may end up spending the same

recommendations please.

thanks.

i had a kershaw 700 ho on the past and now i have this complete combo and i can tell you that the 2350 kv motor of the combo have the double of torque and speed of the kershaw.
one is brushed and the other is brushless and that says all!!

if you look on KD's website, he actually has brushless, feigao style, revolver motors.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
