Scams.com - 06.04.2009, 01:43 AM

I know a guy who had his business reported by someone on Scams.com for a supposed scam but it never happened and now he says some guy is getting paid to keep it up on Google (some kind of server refresh setup, I think) and he's very upset (naturally) about the damage that it's doing to his business and person. Is there any way to get it removed or at least bump the link on Google back a few pages?

Report it to Google as some form of malicious activity designed to harm a business- if the scam never happended, then there wont be a legal record of the person its happening to being in trouble withn the law (which could be verified I assume), so Google could remove the offending search result, and contact the scams.com website too on the same basis.

How do you go about reporting it? There is no legal record of it, and the only legal action I know of being taken against him was someone basically suing because he made money on a deal, and he won that case.
