Well, photobucket quality sucks. Youtube is gay and keeps having an unknown error.

AND I suck at driving. AND I and trying to film and drive at the same time.

I have to agree, you really suck at driving

But maybe it's hard to drive a 1/36, never drove one, only 1/18th scale...

But the track looks good, and simple to build, I like that!

I've got a 1/18th scale Duratrax Vendetta, and I thought it would be fun to drive with it at home, but it's still far too big for my room... What do you think about 1/36 for running at home? I might want to get 2 of them, to race with my father. But are they stock good enough for indoor, or do they need many upgrades? (Ball bearings, oil shocks?)

Just stock they are pretty good trucks, except for one thing - they need is a lipo. I would stay away from the losi lipo and get a few lipos on hobbycity. iirc the 2s 460 rhino fits with little modification, so I'd get that.

And comparing the t to DT to raminator to baja, get the desert truck. I had a baja and the chassis was too short and the steering links broke all the time. The DT has an extended chassis and a longer bumper in the front.

The only upgrades I would get right away would be threaded axles and ball bearings; but they are not needed. Once you drive it a little bit you could look into oil shocks. If it doesn't have the speed you're looking for, you could get the atomic BB2 motor for atomicmods.com. It has less turns and ball bearings.

The perfect room to drive micro T's would be a room around 12x16'+ with carpet that is very short. (don't know the word for it) My track was in a little 11x10' room and it was a little small, but it worked. I also drive it outside sometimes on my driveway. Thick, plush carpet is a little too much for a micro t. Hardwood will also work, but can get a little slick in the right situations.

Make sure to do a couple mods. One is the antenna mod which was discussed on page 1, and flip the wheels for a much wider stance. Make sure to get a tiny phillips screwdriver for working on it. #00

My driving is a little better without filming and my driving is pretty good with a bigger area. Upstairs in my living room it's 11x20 with a 15'x4' hallway. I'm a pro driver up there.
