You guys would have a good laugh at me sometyimes. I go into the hobby room and juststand there looking at all of the partially finished projects. Sometimes I get bewildered and just turn the lights off and go home. Other times I dig thru the parts and find a truck that I have not played with in 3 months since I broke it, fix it and play with it. Or sometimes I just find some stuff to sell, take pics and post it up here...

Just depends on your mood. I have some crawler stuff to sell now, and maybe a truck or two in the near future. Maybe put the 3905 emaxx back together with a MMM/2200 combo... Maybe not.

Everybody has some good luck as well as the bad ones. I personally have fried 4 ESCs, unreasonably. But I am still loving this hobby as if not more than before.

I've burned many ESCs (Some just stopped working and some in went down in style (flames)) and had my share of failed motors (A few had the rotors come off the shaft). Most of the problems can be something really small like a little shim that wasn't put in the diff. Things like bearings, things too tight and weight, will always makes things work a bit different and will put a lot of strain on the electronics. Now, the product(s) you own have great people backing it up, so no worries there. A lot of people have shown interest in speed runs and if one don't have the very best and powerful stuff available, one will spend a lot of money. I have stopped my speed runs and have had more fun with some very efficient running set ups. It was time consuming going over checking and cleaning everything, but it was worth it. This hobby was meant for one to learn how things works and I suggest that everyone who has bought a RTR vehicle to disassemble the kit and put it back together after checking and double checking (I triple check things, but that's just me) everything before putting the kit back together. I hardly her people having trouble with a kit they assembled, but I hear a lot of complaints when one buys a RTR kit and just hooks everything up and drive like there's no tomorrow. I have to say that if it wasn't for this hobby, I wouldn't be able to deal with the many issues I have to deal on a day to day basis. One of my dreams is to make this hobby available to everyone possible on a global scale and I'm working on finding a way to make it happen. Sorry for the long scribble and hope you can enjoy this hobby to the fullest.

I have had bad luck with the first couple Quark 125's I got replaced... then ever since S&T ditched us.... my Quark has held up for 1 1/2 years now. funny how that works...
