I have 3 of the 1521 8mm shaft motors, and the tdr colleted pinion adpaters are the best thing I have found... Or pull the rotor out and have it turned down.

Ah, I forgot about their set screw deal. Does TDR's pinion adapter work with an 8mm shaft? If yes I would be very interested in a link if you would be kind enough to provide one

Will he do a custom 8mm shaft size version? They're already decently expensive at $35 so I wouldn't want to spend much more...
