Dwight

What gearing are you running in the first photo and have you had any issues with the Losi/RCM assemblies?

Also how much better are the Losi wheels over the other ones?

i believe i'm running a 45 (plastic spur)/25 combo there. i've also used 43/25 with great success in speed runs as well.

no issues with the losi/RCM assemblies. Mike's mounts are the best available imo. I've purchased 4 from him in the past 3 or so months i've been running the 8ights.

which losi wheels? the white rally wheels with the v shaped grooves will go 100mph+ without ballooning or the glue becoming an issue. nitrostarter recommended them to me, and their incredible. i don't know if their belted or not but they are made of very sticky hard rubber. here's a link:

the yellow dish offroad tire/wheel combo are just the stock set from the losi kit. i haven't used them yet. I expect them to be as good as the proline bow-ties.
nice to see you around rcm, PBO.
