Glitching Problem -
06.19.2009, 12:06 AM
Seem to be having a glitching problem. Hooked up my MMM to a CC 2200kv motor and am running a Spektrum DX2.0 radio.
Works fine sometimes, but then other times it'll hesitate before accelerating or sometimes I'll lose control of the whole buggy. I have the latest Castle software downloaded and I have looked over my settings more then once to make sure they are set correctly via Castle Link.
I am stuck as to what the problem is. I used the Spektrum and MMM in my Hyper 7 with no problems, so idk what the problem is now with the different motor.
Any help would be appreciated!

I would check all the connections, batteries, motors, esc. They may look fine visually but there could still be a problem. Had the same issues as you. Checked all the connections (several timed) every one of them looked and felt fine. I didn't get mine working until I replaced the bullet connector between the motor and esc. Worked great after that. Point being even if they look fine they could still be the problem. It saved me the month or two I would of been without and esc.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I will have to check connections. Thing is they were completely fine last time I used them and the ESC has just been sitting, they've had no use.

What do you mean whe you say you "Loose control of the whole buggy"?
(Note: More then one answer may apply)
A:) None of the electronics are getting power, esc, steering servo all dead (breifly or until kicked)?
or
B:) Everything still has power but no response from the transmitter commands?
or
C:) No control over it any more like a teenager? Not home on time, grades slipping, wrong group of friends, smart ass remarks, etc..
or
D:) Other:
E:) A & B but Not C: & D:
F:) C: & D: but Not A: & B:
G:) B & C: but not A: & D: or E: and F:
H:) G: but F: & E: sometimes when D: is applied
I:) I am bored and waiting for the clock to hit that magic time that says: GO HOME MR. MillerTime and grab a hold of Mrs. MillerTime for me, you lucky stiff. What a looker she is Tall Blonde Long Neck, Flathead, pistol grip ears, easy twist off top. Oh LA La LA.
Everybodies, got one of those clocks at work, right?

Lmao...
It will stop and will not respond to throttle or steering inputs and then it will suddenly work again.

Gotta love multiple choice trick questions.
What receiver you got in there. Does it stay in that one or do you use it in others? If it's loosing power then everything does right? No external BEC going on it this setup? Still I am thinking connection or maybe even on/off switch having problems.
