I would just buy the aluminum bodies and TiNi shafts from Traxxas to make these just like a mini version of the upgraded Revo shocks (that now come standard on the E-Revo). They have proven to be great shocks from my experience with them, and I can't see the mini versions being much different quality wise.

That said, the stock shocks do suck...a lot. I haven't even ran mine and I can already tell that they aren't very smooth and have already leaked a solid amount of shock oil out of them cause there is almost no dampening.
