Whats wrong with 20/44 gearing? Its 25/44 is when you really pushing it.

Depends on the terrain as well. Gearing should be come upon by multiple factors not just 1.

The pinion screw not being tight could also be a major issue as linc stated.

I guess I am different from most people. When I have a product fail I look first at everything I may have done wrong or not done and evaluate myself first. I also give the company a chance to help me as well.

When my original V1 failed the first time out, I still went over the setup with CC to makes sure there was nothing I could have done differently. I talked with Joe Ford directly via email to verify everything. I also was patient for with them to address the problem since they were in fact addressing it. This all even I after I knew the issue was in fact with the product and not me.
