Thanks for the advice guys. I'm not totally sure what I want to spend on one. I was looking at Pioneers and Alpines (my brothers have had both and both were good) in the $150-$300 range online @ Crutchfield. I want something cheap but I'd rather spend an extra $100 or so and get a reliable unit than cheap out and have to replace it again soon. I'd like to keep the stock Mach 460 amp setup and just drop in a head unit for now and add a sub to the trunk later on (Crutchfield sells some nice-looking units that won't make it stand out too much).

The car is pretty much a daily driver, but I also take it to shows and don't want it to look like I "punked" it out or anything. Trying to make it functional but discrete.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

from my experience cruthcfield is very exspensive, compared to other online stores.
