Yeah, but it is a little too expensive for me to go there to prove some people it is right....

nobody complaint about vassmar 135 tc4, or 84mph 20 pound XTM MMT of Jzemax...
i will do one last thing to make sure speed is right, will see if i can make a video tomorow.

Thx for the comment! apprecieted.

Don't listen to the doubters, if intelligent RC people work out the calculations, it's possible. The questions should be why it couldn't have happened...if that makes sense? ROSSA record & recognise "unofficial" speeds using that method, the ISC seem to think the same way. My main concern about a Revo would be wheel/tyre combo and you've done the work to keep those HPI's together...all looks good to me

1/8 (sorry Revo's can't be called 1/10 IMO) & 1/5 cars look slower than 1/10 at those speeds, it's also hard to show those speeds when zooming the camera to follow the car. Leave the focus fixed & things look very quick!!

I will say when you are next to a big rc going at 60+ speeds there is no doubt it is moving! Even my little 10th scale tc speed car looks and sounds like a jet when it is beating 70.

i'm just messin wit ya, congrats!

"don't have access to a speed trap"- all you need is a tape measure and stop watch to get exact numbers.

get triple digits

Thx guys,

I always thought it would be hard to show the speed trap that way on a video, because of the FPS of cameras...

If the wather is good tomorow we will go do another test, but using the Castle 2200kv, my friend wanted to see its potential before going back to the Neu 1515 1.5d, we got
88 mph using the same setup as the 1515 1.5d...

What gearing are you running with the 1.5d? I was using a 19t pinion with a 50t spur on mine with 4s. That seemed to be the sweet spot for 40min runtimes with good temps. I am sure you guys are not really worried about temps, a couple of blasts down the street and some cool down time if you do alot of runs.

I'd be half temped to see if a police or highway patrol (whatever canadians have) would be willing to clock it for ya, who knows they may just get a kick out of seing an rc vehicle go as fast as a real car and break the speed limit.

E-revo MMM 2200 6s zippy 50MPH of pure fun and parts destroying powa!

Yes, thx guys :)

We were using 24T 34T mod1 gear for the 91.2mph (1515 1.5d) and 88mph(2200kv)

With both motor we were not holding it at WOT long enought to see the full speed...

May be today we will be able to do a test if the weather hold up.

i would attempt to find a runway for that thing. if you lost contol and it went off that road. you can kiss that truck good by.

that is just great nevertheless. my revo feels like its hauling at 50 when im standing 10 feet away from it. ill choose to stand a lil further back when its goin that fast.

We crashed it a couples of time out of the road, the grass is long enought to help save it, only time we broke something was during a 75-80 mph cartwheels.... LOOOONG cartwheels lol

We tried again today but my friend tightened the slipper too tight and he broke the slipper plate, everything broke in pieces at 70mph...
