I think the lvc is part of the actual pcb, rather than a seperate entity inside the esc, so removing or disabling it is probably impossible. If it was faulty like that though, wouldnt they repair it for free as a warrenty issue (unless its over 12 months old)?
30 days is their warranty period and its only $20 sorry the $40 is if i had replaced the traxxas connector with another brand.

i guess its going in. they will probably just replace it (thats what the traxxas man said)
