can i use the plastic 46 tooth spur gear that mike sells - yes you can

What gearing should i use.I have right now a 10, 12 , 14,15,16 tooth pinion. - depending on your track size, you may end up using 13-15 tooth pinion with the 46.

I will be running a mmm esc, i have a medusa 36-60-2000 right now will that work - to get you started, the motor will work. You may have some high temp issues as that motor may struggle a little with a truggy.

thinking about a neu motor - Neu motors are nice, but they are not designed for surface/off-road use which can cause them to fail early in life. I have had 4 american made Neu motors and all have been sent back for repair or replacement after a short period of use. Neu also takes forever to repair, and their customer service is only ok at best. I do like their batteries though!

And what battery should i use? - 4S Lipo with the motor you have and at least 4500mah or more to get decent runtime.

I have run buggys for a while,so i am trying a truggy this time. - your buggy experience will help you be a great truggy driver.

What is a good racing set up for this truck. - This is a touchy subject as we all have a lot of different setups that work for us. On this one, I will tell you to ready the forums on www.rctech.net as there is a lot more traffic from racers.

Thanks! - Your Welcome!
