Got some very stylish slippers for the Dual V powered E-revo. Pro-line 40 series Mashers on Axial 8 spoke black-chrome rims. Also Pro-line F-250 body. I think it turned out very monster truck-like, which is what I was going for rather than all out racing truggy.
The Velineon systems didn't like pushing around those tires very much so the gearing was changed from 19/62 to 19/68. Still about the same speed with these 6.6" tires as with the 5.8" sportmaxx pin tires on the higher gearing. It heats up much in the 90+ degree heat. But it's cheap, it works, and the ESCs are very reliable.
I put a lot of time into creating a bashing video worthy of how awesome this truck turned out. It has clips from many bashing sessions, some that are a year old. The new tires make the debut towards the end. The video also features a Feiago 9XL 3.3 revo, (2) brushless Rustlers, and a Losi Micro Baja. The baja works well just cruising around on smooth terrain, fast out of the box and a lot of fun for $90. (Jumped a double sink!!!)
The timmy - Revo 3.3 MM 9XL 4s , Rustler MM 4600 3s
The ferty - Dual velineon Revo 3s, Rustler velineon 3s
