Best Tires For E-revo - 07.13.2009, 09:00 PM

Hey guys i have BL erevo waiting for some new tires and I want your opinion on what would be best for running on grass and pavement. Would traxxas Response tires work? Or should I get some Moabs?

I would get some Badlands they are pretty popular. The moabs look like they would be to heavy and the Response tires will wear down on pavement pretty quickly.

Mashers are always a good go everywhere tire w/ great life. Badlands rip on the grass and dirt, but no so good on the road (horrible braking)

Don't know on the response. Moabs are supposed to be quite good but hvy, tho for more street I'd prolly still go mashers.

These are quite good for basher tires. Prolly can find them cheap as well. Good on dirt and road.

CF's. No, track only. Too small for grass, to soft for street (will die fast.)
Again, I don't like badlands for the road. My trucks slide out of control on the street w/ badlands every time I brake, and accel suffers as well. Anything but street, badlands are awesome basher tires.

yeah, its all about the money. $40-50 bucks for a set of wheels and tires is kinda crazy. batteries 100+ etc... hobby is pricey

get some losi zombie maxx or some proline mulchers...those are prolly the two best bashing tires out there. and if you want something bigger, get the losi super bolt-ons.

for those of you that said badlands, have you guys ran the losi zombie maxx's? im trying to see what the difference was.
