I am really getting tired of being stuck behind boats on the road. People do not seem to understand they are not designed for terra firma. I look at the water, hmm where are the boats?

Oh that's right, they're ON THE ROAD. IN MY WAY.

Once again idiots, they are WATER VEHICLESSSSS....... NOT another clever devious way of slowing the rest of the working world down....... I'll stop there before I get going about RVs

Yes, check 'something'.... pretty sure it should shift into 5th in normal driving.

I usually take 5th in my Mustang at around 120 5th gear is too tall though, really drops you out of the powerband and it takes a bit of effort to get it to the governor (135, damned thing). It's got an insane powerband compared to a european or japanese car but at that speed a 2 ton car geared for highway cruising needs more beans than it's got. 6 speed and a built up engine will come when I get the $$$$.

Jeeps can really move, I had a '94 Cherokee with the High Output 4.0 (not sure what's different with the hipo one) and a 5 speed and it hit 60 in 7 seconds in 4wd on ice and it would push the needle around to 0 (85 MPH speedo) in a VERY respectable time for an SUV but it was very unstable.

The speedo in my Protege goes to 140, at the rev limiter in 5th gear it's around 145. No governors FTW!
