Kyosho ST problems....... - 07.22.2009, 10:25 PM

Hi there......i have a Kyosho inferno st-rr.........should be the best truggy from kyosho.....it's not......

pinion and gear are too fragile for this size of truck.....10/43 tooth.......

I ask if someone that issues with diff gears? and solutions or advices on this......I am past due changing gears......they are not cheap over here......

Now the car has front diff with bevel gear destroyed.....and i dont know what to do......have tried many setups and the only reasonable solution its a lower power level.....

mmm
neu 1515 1650kv
lipo flightmax 6s 5000mah 20/40c

gear 13/46 or 14/46

any help would be great......

I never had any problems with mine. I just made sure I shimmed the diffs properly. Any diffs not shimmed properly can break prematurely.

My ST RR is setup with a CC 2200KV motor, Mamba monster on 5S geared at 50/15.

If you are blowing diffs...most likely it is a shimming issue. A 1/8 diff shimmed properly will last a good long time
