Anyone want to have a little competition? -

I think a competition would be a cool thing to do. Maybe have the end date end of Aug or end of year or end of winter?
I was thinking we could see who can make the fastest kit. Maybe a Micro T based vehicle or 1/18th scale. The cost of something this small would be reasonable so we can have more then a few entries.
Just throwing an Idea out there. Is anyone interested in a competition like this?
What about a photo competition, based around a theme- thats always been highly popular on BYT, and its something everyone can do & take part in, even with a basic camera.
I have both a brushless Micro-T and brushless Mini Desert Truck.
Confirming top speed might be tough, I don't have access to a radar gun, and something tells me strapping my Garmin to my Micro might hurt my chances at winning!
I'll make a Micro-T with a lead chassis/wheels and drop it out of a plane so it reaches terminal velocity. Or does it have to stay grounded in this contest?
my old mini t clocked in at 114kmh with fairly standard off the self parts......
c4 9200kv quark 33amp pro car esc foam wheels and largest 3 cell lipo i could fit in the carbon chassis rest of the car was all alloy and c/f mip cvds and diff.
normally ended in cartwheels and bent and broken parts =)

W.T.F. that must be impossible to handle? I still know my Vendetta 1:18 which went 70-80 km/h, but everytime I drove I broke a part because it was un-steerable...
