Motor mounted... - 08.15.2009, 06:46 PM

And I got to say that Mike's mount is the freaking best. Tekno has a sweet idea, and will work really nice with a motor that fits inside it, but Mike's mount fits like it was made by Ofna for the GTP. It is perfect. It puts the motor right down the centerline of the car. The battery weighs pretty much the same as the motor sobalance shoud be dead on. I will get pictures posted later.

Motor mounted, battery tray complete, reciever placed. All that is needed is the Mamba Monster and the 5s-6s lipo to push it. Here it is.

You got a total weight on that rig?

My all stock one with 6s is HEAVY. Took it out for a first drive today, suprised how nice it handles though. Only got a couple min. in, I need to set more brake on the MGM controller.

I have finally completed the beast. Mamba monster, Tork 2200kv motor and 5s lipo and she is ready to run. I cannot wait to get it out on the road.

All I can say is WOW!!! The power on 5s is amazing. On stock wheels, 3/4 throttle and it is drifting. The beast is really a beast.
