im charging my lipos for 1st time 2s1p 5000mah 20-30c 7.4v.
i connected the batt to the charger and it shows 3.7v on each cell (brand new pack).does that mean i dont need to charge them or i still need to charge them?until they reach 4.2v each?

Lipos usually come about half charged. If you run them now, you will only get around half the runtime you usually would.
