maxamps is like going to houstons. Looks good but you can make the same thing at home even better for 1/2 the price. Fat waitresses dont get tips

Don't get maxamps. You'll go 35 with that setup until your lipos burn to hell. Get hyperion G3 VX packs. They are the best packs you can buy at the moment, and they're probably cheaper then maxamps.

Another thing, the LiFe chemistry doesn't hold voltage under load nearly as well as lipos. You'll probably be dissapointed with any type of LiFe pack with that setup.

Here, pinion size an other important info
Perhaps you should slow down a bit and do some research before you go off on an $1000 adventure to try and make Sav XL do 60.

Indeed- its no better than buying a FLUX and sticking a pair of 3s lipos in it; without having done lots of prior research into the correct motor/esc/lipo/gearing/tire choice, you just end up with a wheelie machine that smashes into a curb and disintigrates at high speed, thats if the esc doesnt turn into a pyrotechnic device after 5 minutes of being geared way too high.

I would read through all the savage conversion threads on this forum before buying anything.

i came up with:

front/rear gear ratio: 3.3076923076923075
transmission gear ratio: 1.532258064516129
additional gear ratio: 1
spur gear tooth count: 52t
pinion gear tooth count: 18t
total battery voltage: 16.8v 2x 7cells
kv rating of motor: 2200kv
tire diameter: 7.0
tire ballooning: 1.0
current draw in amps: 120
motor resistance: 0.0003

and came up with 67mph??????howww????

67mph? Because you put down 7" tires; no one in their right mind would set their truck up for ~70mph using tires that big, nor would they use 14 nimh cells You wont get to more than about 30-35 before the nimhs explode.

Those motor mounts (BLue Groove = bad copies of Mike's stuff) wont work either probably, different trucks = different layouts.

Again,

You really need to do a lot more reading-

You either need to make a motor mount like LincPimp (search his threads), or purchase something fom KershawDesigns or FLM (conversion chassis).
You need to run 5-6s lipo, or 16-18 nimh cells with a ~1600-2000kv motor.
You need to be realistic about the speeds you want- the savy is not a good platform for high speed, its too heavy and too tall for anything other than straight line speed runs, and even then it will be prone to getting out of shape- you need a nice low slung revo/ maxx or truggy for going fast.
