Time to say "Good Bye" -
08.10.2009, 06:46 PM
Well guys I think its time for me to say Good bye...well maybe "See Ya Later." Im currently stationed overseas and just found out that my wife of 8 yrs will be leaving me. RC was one of many things that I love spending time with my kids on. Unfortunately I had to sell all my RC stuff to pay for a lawyer. The only last RC I have was a full supermaxx which "happened" to turn up missing. Im not really worried about that though as splitting up my kids. My son is not my biological son but I have been with him since he was 2 months old...he is almost 9 now. Both kids are really close so Im in a bind. I want my kids but I can only have my daughter...now am I willing to separate the two. Hopefully one day I can get back in. I know I didnt post much...mostly lurked until I found the answer on what I was trying to do. Just wanted to thank you guys for all your help.

Hopefully when you get back stateside, you can get some kind of parenting plan in place where you can see them a couple times a month. The kids are almost old enough where they can/will make decisions on if they should see the "ex".

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Thats how we lost Shaun. (TDC57) Absolutely lose R/C for now. Kids come first. Will the ex allow you in your sons life? Whatever decision you make on that front, make it soon and stick with it. If his biological father isn't in the picture, then he needs a role model and always will. I'm not trying to preach, just thinking about the boy.
Shitty deal man, with no end near, but as Linc said above it can't rain forever.
Best of luck to you, in this and in life. Peace.

Im the only father that my son has known and Im not just gonna abandon him. My wife agreed which Im happy for. Now the hard part is telling the kids why their parents dont live together.
Thanks for the support guys.
