Does anyone make beefy dog bones for the center of the Revo 3.3? -
08.11.2009, 12:37 PM
I was really hoping UE made titanium bones that were the right length, but sadly they don't, so I am stuck trying to locate some that are the right length as well as being beefy enough. I would love for them to be titanium, but that probably won't happen unless I have a set custom-made for me.
Of course, I could always just have a set of aluminum or stainless-steel bones made by RC Solutions, and I may end up having to go that route, but I wonder if they would do a titanium set for me...anyone know?
I haven't officially measured them yet, but a rough estimate of the lengths I need are 78mm and 65mm pin to pin.
If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks, I just wish they made Ti shafts!
Since one of my best friends has a few CNC machines, I am going to see what he would charge to make me some Ti shafts.

Ask em if they can get some Titanium in. Let me know. I think hardened steel would work fine though and only 20 bucks. Dude I just moved alot closer to you we should bash soon like we planned. I'm in Sylacauga.

Well, I want titanium for two reasons...it's much lighter than steel, and I love titanium!
Yea, man, we really should! I broke a titanium axle-stub and a front upper arm the other day, and the new ones shoule be here in a couple days, but we really should set a date to get together for a bashing session.
