I have a 10yr old Nikko buggy that goes 5mph at most for my son to start with when he's ready (he's not old enough yet...can't even stand...haha). Then I have a Nikko truck that goes about 10-15mph for him to upgrade to. Then after that, I'll give him one of the hobby grade RCs, but toned down so he doesn't have to jump from a 10mph truck to a 40mph one and take out daddy's shin while he's learning.
My 4yo is learning to drive an XL5 Rustler in training mode that is water-proofed. He can't get enough of driving it in mud-puddles. Every time it rains he can't wait to get it out.
I agree i just sold my evader st. i had it forever and the ext can handle brushless power 2s no problem because of the new diff style and bearings are a cheap upgrade from bushings if u buy the cheap ones. plus they are great about their warranties, and product support, i got my truck from tower and it came with a leaky shock and they sent me a whole set within a week. plus parts are cheap and keep parts recipts because u can send them in as well if they break within a year.
