Very nice, the backflip from a standstill is the ultimate test of power. im going to go with the turnigy batteries as well. im happy to see the results im seeking. and the 1521 1y 1577kv should run cooler and let me get a good gear range. sweet vid, i think that the biggest thing ive ever seen do a backflip off the line

Nice vid man.

You still owe a Forza date.

Definitely, torque and traction is everything. I'm still awe-stricken at how this gargantuan truck can be tossed around like a rag doll with that motor. Your 1521 on 6s will be all you need. It's larger, more powerful, and more efficient so you should be golden.

Thanks. I'm still on for Forza

Definitely a power house, I wasn't able to push it to full speed in the space I had and it was still moving along just fine. I'd eyeball it at 50+ in the vid, plenty of speed. With that 16T pinion I should be able to get close to 70 though.

What version of the Turnigy Lipos are you running there?

I just picked up a pair of 2S 30C packs, but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet.
It's an incredible motor for the price, such a shame Medusa isn't making RC motors anymore. I think I paid around $140 for it and IMO it out-performs a comparable Neu 1515.

Those are the new 5AH 25-35C lipos. Not the top-of-the-line packs but they were about $40 each and so far they seem to be excellent packs for the $$.

Defintately an impressive setup though, got tons of power.
Yeah, you get a good shot of my chassis brace The camera shut off when I hit it but I grabbed the last frame and held it for a second for effect.

Certainly impressive, but I'm not going to be running it on 6s very often. On 4s with this gearing it still runs hotter than I'd like, I'm dropping down 2T on the pinion and running it on 4s until I want to shred another $50 in tires

Thanks, Shinedown rules! I thought the title was fitting as well.
