Buggies are pure track machines. Sure, they'll do okay in bash mode, but you'll want the bigger tires, wider stance (stability), and ground clearance.

Check the forums at RCTech. There's a guy selling two brand new RX8s for $160 each over there!!! I can give you his email if you want, he still has both. Combine that with a used Neu or similar motor and you're all set. I would suggest a used MBX5T for a great basher.

I second that. I have a Mugen MBX5-T and love it. Handles great, very very tough, great quality, and you can get them cheap on RCT.
