The 720i can do 7s A123 packs in balance mode. But, you can use 6s lipo setting to charge a 7s A123 pack as the full charge voltage is the same. (25.2volts) It must be charged in non-balance mode however; A123's do not really need balancing, as long as they are good quality cells from a dewalt pack or single cell A123 racing units sold from a respected seller.
