Back and embarrassed. -
08.17.2009, 11:07 PM
Long time fellas. I've been away working a good bit, have to make some money some how. Anyway, things ran tight a little while back and my internet was a luxury I couldn't justify so I had to let it go for a while. The unfortunate part of this story is I promised some items to a member on here through the PIF thread which I didn't send because I was unable to get the address from my PMs. I still have the items if anyone needs them, and I am truly sorry for the original intended recipiant. It was a Maxx transmission and a few other Maxx items. Anyway, over the last 6 months I have detoxed from my RC addiction and all my vehicles have been collecting dust. Sorry guys, I slacked. Forgive me or am I damned to the TRX forums of dispair and uneducated?
The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.

I have No idea who you are but I want to express the fact that myself and I'm sure most everyone here the deepest condolences for you and your misfortunes. It's takes a big man to do what you've just posted. We all understand and wish you the best.
I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I agree totally. If more people in this world we live in were willing to express their wrong doings, man up and ask for forgiveness, the world would be a much better place for all of us to live in...
I applaud you for what you have done and hope the future holds better times ahead for you.

Hard times. -
08.18.2009, 09:30 PM
Hard times are here for everyone. Even if it has not hit you yet there is still more to come. This resession or whatever they want to call it these days is far from over. The trickledown effect has not even begun to hit us yet. With unemployment levels at an all time high there will be a lot more lost then just jobs.
Anyway good to see you back on RCM trying to get through whatever problems you may have. Just in the last few months we have seen people going through all sorts of stuff. Divorce, homelessness, unemployment, lossing ones kids. We all have to suffer the nasty things that life throws at us over our lifetime, and the key is not in the losses, but in the recovery. We all have to push through whatever may come our way and find the light at the end of the tunnel. There have been a lot of guys on here and other sites selling off just about all of their stuff to make ends meet. It will all come full circle over the next couple of years. Stay strong and find your own little recovery plan. Good luck with that.

I consider myself very lucky, I found a good job with better than average pay and great working conditions. I am embarrassed because I failed to send off promised items. I'll post some pics of what I've got up for grabs. Thanks for understanding. I appreciate it.

So you do not remember who it was that you were dealing with back then? Don't you still have the PM's in your box? I don't think that I was one of them, but I guess it depends how long ago it was. Anyway we are not hate mongers in here like some other sites, so I am sure that with your explanation those involved will understand. No biggie I would think.
