I plan on getting alloy gearbox cases when i get round to it. I've always had them on my more powerful cars and it always makes a big difference whether it be from adding weight in the right place or simply not flexing with big power.
Yeah, those wires are extreme. Then again, if those C rates are accurate you could be looking at a pack flowing 150 amps constant and 200 peak so I'd rather have them on there than not.

I'm sure the pack will be more than adequate, the EZ-run is a pretty proven esc these days and I'm within the operating range so I'm not worried about that. As you pointed out, I'm pretty sure the truck will be the first to give out, if the $28 motor doesn't first.

So that's what I'm more worried about.
