Now i want to ask you some things for my nexts purchases:
1. Since titanium skids are already out of stock everywhere (well integy are going to release some titanium on september but i dont like too much integy parts, what do you think?) i wanna try the fast lane machine skids plates, do you know if front and rear skids will fit 3905 e-maxx, any other skids to think about it?
2. I want to paint the body shell in a red that looks as the ferrari does, since i ve faspearl red form faskolor and its a red very ugly, wanna know wich faskolor red need to buy.
3. For bulkheads im thinking of great assembly rc ones, the 6061 that are sold by 100 dollars the set.
When i get all this things i will buy a tekin rx8 2250kv combo and i will powered with 4s.
Thanks for watching!!!

Keep those UE diffs.

You've got it right as far as Maxx parts go: Integy bad, GARC and FLM good.

Skids: Titanium is better than plastic. Plastic is better than Aluminum.

How is your suspension action?

Nice truck. Look mine up.

hey thanks for the reply!!!
so i will keep plastic skid plates till i find some titanium ones.
Maybe i will keep those ue diffs, but man i just ran 20 minutes the truck and i ve spended lot of money on it, that is why i cant tell you how is going my suspension action, just can say that those shocks looks sweet: 4mm shaft really big big bore and this suspension is the winner of the buggy nationals or something like that, but if you use stock sliders they rub a little when the truck have a lot of ground clearance. I just ordered the stiffers springs that i could find for the d8 shocks and will try like 60 silicone oil, now im running associated 40 shock oil and stock springs and it handles just a little better than with stock shocks and silicones.

Are flm bulkheads a direct fit to the 3905 emaxx? cause i,ve seen that flm parts always needs a little to work on it to make it fit right, im interested in those flm parts if someone can advise me about it:
1. bulkheads, cause they are cheaper than the garc ones
2. shock towers, the only problem i see if i cant find the 3906 body post that are needed to use this towers.
3. motor mount cause they say that lowered the center of gravity.
4. and maybe will give a try of the skid plates cause they are cheap and looks sweet.

1. bulkheads should be a direct fit to the g4 chassis.
2. FLM have redesigned their shock towers to use the newer square style body posts- probably just an old picture various websites selling them.
3. FLM 3905 motor mount will fit the 3905 tranny perfectly, but it may limit the size (height) of the battery you use on one side. Should be fine for anything upto a 3s lipo, but a fatter 4s or larger item may be a little too tall. Maybe...
4. Aluminium skids are fine up until the point you bump into a tree or curb, then they bend very easily:

I would look around for Ti skids- ebay or forsale sections of forums (NewEraRacing sell a Ti rear, but no fronts).

Emaxx parts are very universal, at most things just need a little filing or dremeling for clearance, but its rare.

suicideneil thanks you are always really helpfull.
I will buy some flm bulkheads for stock diffs because the ue 6 diff with uralite case fit the stock bulkheads or that is what the seller told me.
I ve found a kit of titanium skid plates for 69 dollars, they are integy but maybe i will give it a try, i know that the aluminum that they sells is like butter but.... just want to try and let you know about it.

Yeah Neil knows his stuff.

Ultralites will fit. I know, I have the 8 spiders, I'm glad to see you have decided to use the them.

IDK about the Integy. I know I wouldn't. If you are just itching to put some Integy on, try their springs they're good, oh wait you use Losi shocks... lol

ok when i get the parts from rc-monster i will only need a tekin or a mmm to "finish" my project, im going to buy some FLM stuff for my maxx and need some advice:
1. shock towers; dont know if are the same the front and the rear, and if mike will have the new desing that allows use the new square body posts.
2. skid plates; the pic that mike show in his store are drom the old ones, i hope he have the new style that are more machined and looks more cool and light weight.
After all those spares and a esc combo will be time to bash and race against nitro crappy bueggys hehehehe.
