Hallo boys yesterday I tried the baja 5b with the neu 2215, I have to say that the
machine now is perfect, 85KMH,and after 20 minutes of the game
engine was 50C degrees and the esc was 55c °, this is the video :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L73aNJ-wlIk
Very nice....I can only imagine how much all of the electronics cost.
1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S
Hallo boy, today i run my baja with eagletree system sensor...
This is the resyults
Temp ambient 37 C°
Temp motor 51 C°
Temp esc 53 C°
Temp batt 49 C°
Top speed 85 KMH
Top RPM 24.834
Runtime 20 minute
First of congratulation on this nice build. Thanks for sharing the Eagletree graph. Seems as if the car needs around 45A @ 36V to maintain top speed (1600W). Hard to tell without zooming in further into the graph.
Could you attach the eagletree data file "baja221510slast.FDR" i would like to get a better idea what exactly happens from an electric point of view when moving a 1:5 vehicle.
Around 540W average is less than i would have expected, but this is mostly related to the driving style. 110A (3800W) peak is not that high but seems to be due to the grip limit of the rear tires (Batteries may also be the limit). I guess you were still running your "older" lipos (older generation PQ5000 with 25C) as voltage drops to min 32,91V.
Did you already drove it offroad? Might not be that easy to find a good offroad bashing spot in a big city like rome ;-)
Yes Othello, in Rome is difficult to find a track, but i see a nice place to make an off-road session...in the next week :)
I need to make a filter on the 2215 to prevent the fan suck a debris
yes my lipo is older polyquest 5000 25c
i want to buy a 35C
