I work with boats and we use auto paints at times because they're generally more bullet proof when the weather doesn't want to behave! Never used basf though, usually Glasurit...heard of that? Great for painting masts & alloy boats

The paint scheme you have on your boat now is something I would do, but with blue after the yellow and 5 green stars under the white paint as we only have 5 World Cups you know . I have some car bodies I will paint, but I might wait until next year to see if the number of stars will change .

BASF is the parent company for R&M and Glasurit. The basecoat I use is identical to Glasurit 55 line. Glasurit is more expensive than R&M, that is for sure. Good products, especially for the price.

what type of boat is that and what do u run in it? i have a spare 1515 1y laying around and have plenty of smooth water right at my back yard but my motor is finned and dont think thats the best thing to use and i bought a 80mm 2000kv medusa to run in my muggy till i find a 1521 1y. i think the medusa would be a good motor with a water jacket.ive been looking at boats in the 30" range and was wondering what a good affordable setup would be but also fast as the water is like glass most of the time and plenty of room to run.

That boat is about 15" long, and made for a 380 sized motor. Nothing more than 25-30mph...

A couple boaters have been experimenting with the Medusa with great results.

I have a TC31 cat hull for sale if you are interested. 32" cat
