Yes, get the Tenbol mount along with a 1412 motor, or a 1512 motor. 1900watts and 2000watts surge respectively. I think that is about all you can put through the 1/16 anyways, IMO.

The issue I'd have with the 1512 or 1412 is the 5mm shaft. Can I get big 48p pinions for a 5mm shaft?

How would a 1/10 VXL (3500) do, compared to the 1112 I have now? I have one just sitting here, if it's even worth the trouble.

don't bother with the vxl 3500. Its an "s" can feigao and good for no more than 700watts
