igot gorilla max g2with extension chassie addon and g3 suppsion with integra piggy back shocks ,mip axels and novak hv bl.i was having trouble with thermal shutdown runing 70t spur and 14t pion run 2x 3800 6cell .then have changed to 2x 3800 7cell 12t pion 70t spur still having trouble with thermal shutdown . i have tried 2x 3800 7cell 12t pion 72t spur but have lost speed. got more torqe .does any body have any tips.or is this just a novak thing.if so what is th best bl setup

What about tire size? If you run some big tires you need the 12 tooth. Did it thermal on the 12 tooth? You have the fan mount on esc right. That is a big help if not.

i have the hv maxx and run mine with 2 7 cell GP3300 packs and the motor warms up but it doesnt go above 110 degrees and the esc hasnt went over 100 degrees(i use the fan).
i run mine with a 15t pinion and 70t spur with standard size tires novak says you can run a 14-16 tooth pinion with a 70 tooth spur
