How are you connecting the cut off clutchbell stem to the motor shaft.

I haven't worked on mine for a while either...been working a lot of OT lately...always nice to get a pay check that is $600 bigger than normal.

I know what you mean about OT.. I work 55 hours every week.. straight pay... but that's extra RC money ... I'm connecting the cut off clutchbell shaft to the Brushless motor shaft with a Coupler... I want everything to look stock as possible, that way I have lots of play with the Gearing...

Coupler dimensions..

18mm wide x 22mm long

End A: 9.05mm wide x 8.0mm deep
End B: 10.05mm wide x 14mm deep

Each shaft will be held together by 2 set screws, 90 Degrees from each other... so 4 set screws total.. it will hold up without any problems.. I probably only need 1 set screw.. but rather be safe than sorry... Once it get's here I might have to shorten the coupler so it will fit in between the bearings...

Finished the rear mounts for the motor...

All that's left to be done is figuring a way to mount the batteries, get new steering servo and cutting excess aluminum from the front mounts..

And this is the Coupler thingy...
