That's basically it. The only other thing I would add is to watch motor RPMs. If the motor is already spinning fast (>35-40k) on 4s, 5s will just be faster. Not only is excessive motor rpm potentially less efficient, but you might not be able to gear low enough depending on the spur/pinion options you have.
So basically, your choices are to gear down for the same speed, or get a lower motor kv and gear the same.
