check your gear mesh as right now mine are really quite on my rc8 buggy and losi 8t. Or maybe they are worn down a bit causeing alot of noise. Plastic are great but remember with the power we put threw these things I think they are bound to strip fairly quick.

Never stripped a plastic spur. at least not mod1.


I run steel gears on my 8ight and its quiet as can be. What pinion are you running?

Novaks and other off brands are loudest

Dead heat between rc-monster and robinson, both are near silent.


you mesh could be off or those gears could be worn.
