Mine came with a coupon for a free castle link adapter. It says to register it with a code provided and they will send a free castle link. They must not have had enough stock to package them with the MPro.

That actually makes a lot of sense. After getting a few MMM systems, I have like 3 or 4 CLinks. A couple spares are nice to have, but any more than that is a waste. So, they save the expense of including it if the user doesn't need it, but still offer it for free if they do.

+1, very good idea! When I got my replacement MMM I had a spare CC Link and had no use for it, so I gave my spare one to Freezebyte and when I get my MMM back from CC I will have another spare which I'll probably give to a buddy of mine simply because I only need 1. Very good move on Castle's part

Castle Link adapter chip - 10.19.2009, 10:56 AM

The Mamba Max Pro will be coming with a coupon for the Castle Link adapter chip. This entitles you to a free Castle Link adapter chip, but does not include the USB cable; we cover the cost of shipping for domestic addresses and most international shipments. This is also true for the new Phoenix ICE line. You have 3 options for redeeming the code on the coupon. You can submit the code on our website, fill out the coupon and fax it, or simply mail it in.

Just FYI... We stopped including the USB cable with our products. So the Mamba Max and Mamba Monster no longer include the cable. For now the Mamba Monster will still come with the USB adapter chip, but eventually it will be replaced by the coupon as well.

Is anyone else having probs with the MMP when useing JR servos??

I have a 650m that causes the esc to flash lights, the light on the RX blinks, and the servo twitches to the right...

BTW the servo works fine on my RX8, and MM

So the JR 650M never operates correctly, the receiver doesn't bind with the TX, and all 3 LED's flash on the Pro? If this is the case, it sounds like the power coming from the Pro's BEC isn't operating correctly.

Does the problem occur when using a different servo?? If it does, then it's a problem with the Pro. If it only does it with that servo, it's a little more puzzling, especially since that servo works on other setups.

Let me know if you get any different results.
