Center differential

I have installed the Revo center diff in my 3905. It all but stops the wheelies, even though it (supposedly) came with 500K diff lube. I am going to brushless, and imagine this won't last with the horsepower. Is anyone running brushless and the center diff? How do you reduce slip to let more power get to the rear wheels? I don't see more than 500K diff lube available. Maybe just snawt? Or is it best just to put in the stock spool? Even with the titans, my front lifts and then the fronts just spin up, not getting good power to the rear due to diff unloading.

1. to prevent wheelies - be smooth on throttle :)
2. thicker center diff oil = more wheelies.

i used to have in my maxx 30k anything higher and it would wheelie forever. but that was my custom 1/8 scale diff.

traxxas center diffs are joke. go for 100k oil and be smooth on the throttle

yes, if you want wheelies go back to the stock spool. And no, the trx center diff doesn't like brushless power

I pulled the tranny to put the spool back in, and install the hardened idler gear from UE. Unfortunately, since I have a single-speed trans, the hardened gear won't work (too narrow). I assume it is for the 2-speed tranny?
I also took this opportunity to shim up the tranny. It took about .015" of shims on the input shaft (to eliminate end-play in the case), and about .010" of shims on the output shaft (to eliminate end-play in the case). I ran it a bit, and it is much quieter now. I used to hear lots from the spur vibrating back and forth, and now its all quiet. Awesome.

The ue idler is for the 3906 tranny not the 3905 trans. I believe the 3905 trans allready has a steel idler, theres no reason to replace it.
