no way dude I always been a huge tamiya fan...since i was like 8 haha...
That's a sweet toy...realy clean layout. I was thinking about doing a brushless conversion on one of these chassis but cannot afford one atm...
Props!
Well finally got to run it at a track. It handles pretty well... i can slightly faster laptimes with it than i could with a nitro car so its in the ballpark as far as setup goes. I still need to make some changes to the shocks as the e version feels slightly heavier than the nitro version (don't know exactly how much).... it was pretty cold in at the track (AMS Raceway in MI) so the temps were very low on the esc and motor... after 15 min hard running on a large indoor track with a big straight (that's how long the 3000mah packs get before the lipo cutoff) the esc was 80 and the motor was 130...
I wanted to say this long ago, but it did seem like an old post. So I waited, waited and then you answer the post, despite it now being even more of an old post. Now I am finally set free, to say; Cool conversion mauahahaha.
