by flex do you mean suspension travel?

the pede is a pretty unstable truck as trucks go, but it is fun to play with.
like semi said.
get some losi 8 shocks on it. they are loads better!!

or you could get the traxxas big bore shocks and get some hot racing multi-rate springs, heavy for rear and medium for front, makes a huge difference!

I use Ofna 1/8 buggy front shocks on the front and rear on my FLM Stampy, got the set of 4 for under $30.00 via Fleabay.

If you want the stance of a Rustler, you'll need shorter shocks than the stockers. Try Jato shocks ???

I think he would need to just lower the body, by using Rustler body mounts, to get a Rustler look. If you use Jato shocks all it will do is make the truck itself lower, and it will kill its ability to jump.

Sh!t! I totally forgot dude. Sorry. Hope I didnt keep you at a halt in terms of running.

Just do what I said, and get some Losi shocks. The Rustler body mounts will really give it a sick stance.

Losi shocks with the bottom plastic cartridge style will not handle the bigger jumps as well as Associated T4 shocks !? Ben there, done that.

t4 shocks are not going to handle jumping duty better than losi 8ight shocks. You are comparing a 1/8 scale shock to a 1/10 scale t4 shock. There is no comparison.

Though i used to love my t4 factory team shocks they are not better than losi 8ight shocks.

Dude, I know. I'm not a F-in idiot ?
But if the guy is one a budget, and wants scale appearance they would be the ticket.
It's only a suggestion.

you cant put rustler body mounts on the front of the pede because the servo is in the way

someone correct me if im wrong but i have the rusty body mount and just couldnt get it to fit without some wack modifications.

the rear body mount isnt a problem because you just neeed to take off that extender peice.
