Make Aftershock go reverse - 12.15.2009, 02:13 PM

What do I need to make my Losi Aftershock go reverse.

I have the mechanical brakes right now, but would like to use the brakes on my Mamba Monster. But I cannot make it work, it just spins the rotor backwards, and doesn´t break at all. I have tried all 3 settings with the castle link, but cannot make it break.

I hope anyone have an answer to this.

Need to eliminate the one way bearing in the trans. or use the actual reverse kit

Do you have a link to the reverse kit?

Go with the td racing single speed hub. This eliminates the one way bearing in the 2 speed and will allow you to use the motor for the brakes. You will also be able to use reverse. Only way to get rid of the mech brakes.

You can install a mech reverse setup out of the lst and unse a 3rd channel servo to select it, however you will still need to use the mech brakes.

Super, I already have the single speed hub in the mail, and got a slip from the postal office today, that says I can pick it up tommorrow.

Thanks for the help.
