e-maxx spur gear - 12.27.2009, 07:53 PM

hi i've got a summit motor 775 in my e-maxx and i wanted to gear it down i have a 21t pinion on it now and had to grind my transmission to get that to fit. i bought an 18t pinion but cannot find any spur larger than 68t. how can i gear down from 21t i can't grind that much of my tranny away.

any help would be appreciated. or if anyone knows where i can find a spur larger than 68t that would be great too. want to stay with plastic but metals ok if thats all thats available.

Here some that I found on EbayUS ,should be able to get these to fit with a 17t pinion maybe

one tooth on the oinion is equal to 3 teeth on the spur
