I manage a Verizon store and can say the Droid is everything it is made out to be plus some. I've been able to use our demo line with one for a week and I cannot find fault in anything other then if you have Yahoo as your e-mail it doesn't work like other Smart phones do. You must upgrade to the premium Yahoo for $20/year to make it work correctly. I won't go into a sales pich but I do really like them. On a side note I'm getting a Curve2 but I like the design better, for me at least.

Google's Nexus one is also being announced today. It's an HTC phone running the latest version of Android... not sure on features yet, but could be worth checking out.
