if you build it, they will come.

I've seen Mike's and I'm holding out for his. But I think you should see your project through. For the experience and knowledge you will learn from going through having an idea and actually seeing it produced. There is some trial and error involved with where you are at, and they will be valuable lessons to learn.

An example would be the fasteners. I suggested "ears" and you said countersinking. Only by having Mike's in my hand I know there just isn't enough room there for countersinking and a suitable fastener. But you wouldn't know that until you try.

If you do see it through, one pic of it on the noob forum and sales on e-bay would move your product quite easily. $300 is crazy though. And keep in mind the $110 for mine INCLUDED driveshafts.

Keep up the killer work!

I hope you guy's sort out this stuff, there are so many people waiting on a "CDMM" it's the only way to move up to the next level. people are making there own i see them all the time savage's sporting 8s and 10s setups bashin like there off that "Liquid Snake" i would love to finish my truck before May but if no one brings the "BEEF" i'll just use the flux mod and the junk brushless system @ 5s till then. After the "CDMM" I will still need a Slipperdiff for a good build so that's around 300 anyway ! This is what happends when you want something nice, unique, different, worth your time, not out the box, Totally Custom....Totally Worth it !

let's see it then! This is why I encourage you to continue. Try your design, you'll see what I mean. Important lessons, only learned by doing. Git-r-don!
