Hey DAF,
The spur is a 46t mod 1 gear from the MGT. The strobe kit will work great, it just requires a little material be removed from the chassis for gear clearance.

The brake lever bends a touch but gets the job done effectively. I'm focussing on my G2R for racing now so I'd like to get a center diff installed in the tmaxx tranny soon.

Yeah, the 1950/7 will be killer on 22.2V. I bought an 8 turn with 6S in mind. And the 6 turn is awesom on 14 Ni cells already.

Starscream. Nice to hear from you again. Is the slipper an Associated Monster GT unit or a Traxxas unit? If Traxxas, How did you go from the hex shaped shaft to a pin design for the Revo?

The revo tranny input shaft is actually the stock emaxx input shaft. I removed the steel gears and installed the plastic revo gear. It works quite nicely. The gear is for the MGT but the slipper plates are from the t/emaxx.

I use a MGT spur on a Revo slipper assembly. Works quite nicely when 3 of the slipper peg holes on the MGT gear are bored out to 5mm, it fits right onto the Revo slipper assembly just like a Revo gear!

I actually made a revo slipper adapter for the plastic 44t ofna pirate10 spur gear. I used this on my single speed emaxx tranny with a center diff.

I looked at using the revo slipper with the tmaxx tranny but it was more work than I wanted to put into it. I got the strobe adapter from Mike and am very happy with it.

Yup, thats the revo input shaft in the emaxx tranny :D
I actually used shoegoo to keep the diff from leaking but then found I needed to shim the internal diff gears a bit so I had to take it all apart again :035:

I thought this was a pretty simple solution for a single speed emaxx tranny with a center diff. I'd like to do something like this with the tmaxx tranny but the t-tranny offers a few extra issues to tackle.

were did the gear come from?

I assume you mean the blue diff gear?
I got the 13t and the blue 36t gear from sdp-si.com
I also got some 36t gears from Mike as well
I stuck with plastic gears to keep the weight down. I've run all plastic gears in all my trannies with my brushless setups and never had a problem so far.

I chose to utilize the 1st gear gear-set (13/36) because I was running a small spur gear with the revo slipper. This setup would be an easy conversion just using the stock input gear with the steel gears. If your going to use a larger spur gear, I'd use the 2nd gear gear-set (18/31).

I have a set of gears comming for the tmaxx tranny 26/28. This conversion is a little tricky but do-able.

Is that a T/Emaxx diff? and, Could a revo diff be adapted to this setup? Because i have a few and could use one without losing spares

The diff is from an Ofna hyper 7 buggy with a custom spur plate.
It's possible to modify a Revo diff to work as a center diff but due to the design of the diff case, and the solid pinion shaft, it will be more difficult to adapt.
